Teke carved wooden power figure (butti) clothed with glass beads and fur. The Teke people are also known as Bateke, Tyo, or Tio and mainly reside in the Republic of the Congo and Gabon.

Height: 12 in x width: 4 1/2 in x depth: 4 1/2 in.
Wear throughout as expected from age and use. Wear to the head, visible in the lot photos, including a small split near the right eye. The lower fur piece is patchy and shows losses of fur. Possibly some losses to the glass bead necklace.
