Group of two small cases including one tortoiseshell purse case and one silver eyeglasses case.
R. Blackinton & Co., United States. Sterling silver eyeglass case with pair of eyeglasses that sit along the bridge of the nose. The case marked along the interior. Monogrammed MWF along the exterior with ornate scrollwork and birds.
One small tortoiseshell and silver case with a divided textile interior. The exterior with two armorial shields surrounded by floral scrollwork.

Eyeglass case; height: 1/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in x depth: 2 in. Tortoiseshell case; height: 3/4 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/4 in. Gross weight: 130.5 g.
Wear and surface scratches glass. Both open and close smoothly. The nose pads of the glasses are fluorescent under UV light, possibly glue restoration. The Tortoiseshell case has several losses along the edges. Heavy wear and discoloration to green fabric components; please see the listing image.
