Dominick & Haff, United States. Set of sterling silver demitasse cups and saucers with Lenox porcelain inserts. Including ten sterling cups, 12 sterling saucers, and 11 porcelain inserts. Each marked along the underside.
Provenance: Stanton L. Catlin, former director of the Center for Inter-American Relations; thence by descent.
Height ranges from 1/4 in to 2 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 2 in to 3 1/2 in. Gross weight (not including 11 ceramic cups): 17.7 Troy oz.
There are no chips, cracks, or losses to the porcelain cups. Some light wear to the gilt decorations and a few accretions. Light wear including light scratches/scuffs and tarnishing to the silver pieces.
