Set of Gorham Landsdowne Neoclassical sterling silver flatware. Most pieces engraved along the underside "STAINLESS" or "PAT 1917 STERLING." The set contains eleven butter spreaders, twelve oyster forks, fourteen demitasse spoons, one sugar spoon, one pair of tongs, twelve salad forks, eleven dinner spoons, twelve dinner knives, twelve dinner forks, two serving spoons, and one pie knife.

The set comes in a wooden Naken's Anti-Tarnish Silverware chest with a blue lining. The chest has a statement on the interior lid reading: "THIS CHEST IS CONSTRUCTED AIR-TIGHT. As sulphur is the agent that tarnishes silverware, all materials used in this chest are carefully selected to be free of sulphur. The lining is chemically treated, and has the power of attracting sulphuric fumes from the air. Keep the Chest open only to transfer silverware. This Chest will keep the silverware from tarnishing during the entire lifetime of the Chest."
