Emil A. Schuelke for Napier Company, USA. Silver-plated cocktail shaker in the form of a penguin with a detachable cover and the beak opening to a spout. Marked "Napier Patents Pend 234" along the underside.

Designed by Emil Schuelke, the "Penguin" shaker was launched at New York's Hammacher Schlemmer store in September 1936, just in time for the Christmas season. This model was known as "The Penguin - A Bird of a Shaker" and went on to be one of the most popular designs until it was discontinued in 1941.
