Russian silver and enamel card tray. Decorated along the top rim and sides with floral and foliate motifs. Marked along the underside of the top rim with an 88 zolotnik silver standard, a circular double headed imperial eagle Moscow mark, and two maker's marks in Cyrillic.

Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Height: 2 3/4 in x width: 5 1/2 in x depth: 4 in. The tray is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or dents. No sign of restoration under UV light. No visible loss to enamel. Light wear throughout, as expected from its age and use. Along the underside, there is a sticker residue in the center; there is discoloration due to oxidation, as expected from the material.
