Roydon "Roy" Martell Mason (American, 1886-1972). Watercolor on paper titled "Quail Hunters," depicting a couple of people and dogs hunting in the fields with a blue barn or house in the background. Signed along the lower right. Further inscribed: "To my friend in need, Charlie Stephens" along the lower right. Roy M. Mason, N.A. label affixed to the verso of the frame inscribed: "'Quail Hunters.' Watercolor painted in Georgia. To Charlie and Jane with great gratitude, Love Roy. April 1956."
