Robert La Hotan (American, 1927-2002). Oil on canvas painting titled "The Virgin Woods" depicting an Impressionist style forest. Signed along the lower right. The bold daubs of jewel tones add to the depth of the forest depicted, allowing the viewer to become lost in the sun-dappled woods.

There are no rips, tears, or restorations. The colors are bold and bright. When inspected under UV light, there was a network of accretions throughout, not noticeable at arm's length. Light wear to the frame.
