Reed Kay (American, b. 1925). Oil on canvas painting titled "Gloucester Waterfront, Late Afternoon" depicting a cityscape with the sunset sky warming the scene, 2002. Signed along the lower left. With a label from Alpha Gallery along the verso.

Unframed; height: 20 in x width: 24 in. Framed; height: 21 1/2 in x width: 25 1/4 in x depth: 1 1/2 in.
The painting is in good condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The surface is stable, and the color is bold and bright. To the upper center, there is a minute brown accretion. Along the extreme edges, there are paint losses, possibly against the old frame. No visible sign of restoration when inspected under UV light. Very light wear to the frame.
