Sonora Chime Company, New York, USA. Rare antique eight bell cabinet clock, circa 1904. Marked "Patents Pending Sonora Chimes" along a metal plaque along the reverse of the clock. Housed in a wooden case decorated with veneer marquetry along the front. Stamped "Sonora" along the face of the dial with Arabic numeral markers. Numbered 1231129. This clock was created before Seth Thomas purchased the rights and patents to the company and mechanisms from William Hoschke in 1912.
