Pair of large Chinese famille rose porcelain jardinieres or fishbowls. Both planters with cracked ice decoration throughout and enamel chrysanthemums, prunus blossoms, phoenix, and butterflies. The interior of each decorated with stamped and hand-filled painted koi and foliage. With unglazed bottoms.

The urns are in good condition overall with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. Some unevenness to the enamel decoration, likely original to the firing process. Residual tape adhesive in some areas that could be removed. Wear to the footrim consistent with age and use. Along the interior of the vases there is significant wear consistent with the urns being used as planters; dirt collected and affixed to the sides located primarily along the lower third of the interior.
