This large map depicts a reconstruction the Campus Martius of ancient Rome, and was published alongside Piranesi's book on the subject, which was the result of a decade of research. The work is dedicated to Scottish architect Richard Adam, who was closely involved in Piranesi's research. The map has been mounted to a canvas.Height: 61 in x width: 58 1/2 in.
