Pierre Nicolas Tourgueneff (French, 1854-1912). Bronze sculpture titled "Chien Couche (Lying Dog)." Signed along the base. Impressed mark "France" along the rim of the base by the hind legs. Marked "Susse Freres Ed Paris" along the base near the hind legs and "cire perdue" along the base near the front legs. Impressed mark for Susse Freres along the base near the tail.
Height: 8 in x width: 15 1/2 in x depth: 5 in.
Some damage to the top along the dog's back.
