Persian handwoven wool prayer rug with a fanciful niche depicting a flowering tree. With scrolling floral borders. Possibly Qum or Nain.
Length: 5 ft 2 in x width: 4 ft 3 in.
The colors are muted. No signs of restoration. Wear throughout, heavy wear throughout the center, small loss in center, along the trunk of the tree image. Losses and lose threads along the corners and edges. Uneven pile. Wear to the back. Some light dust and soiling throughout.
