Persian iron and steel ax or axe, likely Qajar. With a crescent shaped blade and dragon's head motif terminal, the blade profusely decorated with scrolling floral designs in low relief, with three cartouches outlined with gold damascening. The pointed finial with subtle scrolling decoration.
