Paul Cadmus (American, 1904-1999). Two color crayon on paper drawing depicting a seated male nude along one side and a sketch of David with the severed head of Goliath along the other. Signed along the lower left of one side.

Provenance: Estate of Paul Cadmus; The collection of Jon Anderson; Private Minnesota collection.

Condition

The drawing is in great condition with no visible tears or losses, or major creases. There is a line of crease to the lower right quadrant. There is light foxing, most noticeably near the lower margin. It is not possible to determine whether the paper is toned or not due to the original color of the paper. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. Light wear to the extreme edges of the sheet. Please contact us for a detailed condition report. Please note that the lack of a condition statement does not imply perfect condition. Email condition@revereauctions.com with any condition questions.
