Pair of French old Paris Sevres style porcelain lidded urns. Each painted along one side with a couple strolling through a garden and the other with an idyllic French countryside. These reserves are framed with ornate gilt scrollwork against a cobalt blue (beau bleu) ground. The urns are mounted with gilt bronze. The lids with a Sevres mark indicating a date of 1756. The paintings are illegibly signed.
Each; Height: 20 1/2 in in x width: 6 in x depth: 5 1/2 in. Damage and restoration at least to lids.
