Joseph E. Frederic (American, 1916-2005). Two watercolor paintings on paper. One painting depicting a conservatory or greenhouse, signed along the lower right. One painting depicting a bustling street market, signed along the lower right, inscribed PBH, and dated 1984.
Height: 22 1/2 in x width: 30 in.
The paintings are in good condition with no visible tears, major creases, or losses. The color is bold and bright. Both paintings have wear along the margins. The market scene has a minute loss to the upper center; from the reverse, there is a vertical line mark and brown pain accretions that do not affect the recto; along with it, there is pencil marks throughout the reverse. The nature painting has pencil marks throughout the reverse.
