Honore Daumier (French, 1808-1879). Pair of lithographs on newsprint from the series "Les Gens de Justice," No. 32 and No. 17, published in 1846. This series focused on French lawyers in the 19th century. Each initialed along the lower left in plate, titled along the upper center in plate, and additional text along the lower center in plate. No. 32 is additionally inscribed in ink along the lower right. (No. 17) Sight; height: 9 in x width: 11 in. Framed; height: 15 in x width: 16 3/4 in. (No. 32) Sight; height: 11 in x width: 9 in.
