Pair of 18th c. Chinese blue and white square porcelain ginger jars. A rare pair of ginger jars, both large, square and sharp shouldered. The decoration is a border of stylized lotus petals on the bottom and ruyi heads on the top. The central ground was lotus and tendrils. The top of the jades have more tendril decoration and the lids of the ginger jars repeat the ruyi head pattern and have flat tops with floral decorations.

Height: 14 in x width: 7 1/2 in x depth: 7 1/2 in.
