Pair of Chinese export armorial porcelain plates. Possibly with the crest and motto of the MacDonald or McDonald Clan. The border decorated with leaves and grapes. One plate with a label affixed to the underside reading "McDonald & Forbes c. 1795."
Each, diameter: 10 in.
Both plates with a large repair along the rim. One plate with a large repaired crack extending through the plate; there are two smaller, original pieces that have been repaired.
