Oggetti Mangani porcelain painted fish, ca. 1970s. Made in Florence, Italy. Affixed to a swiveling metal base on a wooden platform. Depicting a fantastical fish in bright colors with gold accents.
With Base; height: 17 1/2 in x width: 13 in x depth: 6 1/4 in. The color is bold and bright. No visible chips, cracks, or dents. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. Along the underside edge, there are a few scattered areas that show the underlying white porcelain; however, it does not appear to be damaged but original. To the head of the fish, there is an area with adhesive residue adhered; please see the listing image. Light natural cracks to the wooden base as shown in the listing image. Wear along the underside of the wooden stand, consistent with age and use.
