Noel Rockmore, born Noel Montgomery Davis, was a prolific artist, draughtsman, and sculptor. Changing his name in the middle of his career, he commuted between New York and New Orleans as the abstract expressionist movement gained momentum. Though he lived an often volatile lifestyle, he never stopped creating art, and is said to have created over 15,000 artworks in his lifetime.
Sight; height: 13 in x width: 18 in. Framed; height: 21 in x width: 25 in.
The drawing is in great condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The paper is toned and possibly has an acidic burn given that the mat is browned. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. It is framed under plexiglass. Not inspected out of frame. Light wear to the frame. The purchaser’s obligation to pay immediately the full purchase price is absolute and unconditional and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs or counterclaims of any kind whatsoever. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.

This is at the request, expense, and risk of the Buyer, and Revere Auctions assumes no responsibility for the items or the timing of delivery.
