Modern Chinese rosewood chest of drawers with carved drawers and doors. Each carved with flowering branches and birds in flight. With six drawers and two doors that open to a shelf. The chest rests on four legs.

The furniture is in great vintage condition with no major losses. It is structurally stable and sturdy. As expected from its age and use, wear and stretches throughout, most noticeable to the right and left side of the furniture and right to the bird in the front door as shown in listing images. Dust collected to the surface. Along the edges, the finish has peeled off; there are other several scattered areas of minute finish losses as well. There is a minute loss to the left side of the edge, measuring 1/4 inch. There is a minute loss to the top back of the furniture; to the right of the loss, there is an area with white accretion. To the right along the top, there are two dents each measuring 3/4 inch. To the right and left sides, there is a very small gap between wooden panels; see the listing image. All drawers open and close smoothly. The right doorknob is disattached, as shown in the listing image. When inspected under the UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. The purchaser’s obligation to pay immediately the full purchase price is absolute and unconditional and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs or counterclaims of any kind whatsoever. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.
SHIPPING
Revere Auctions does NOT offer in-house shipping. As a convenience to the Buyer, Revere Auctions will make a referral for packing and shipping. This is at the request, expense, and risk of the Buyer, and Revere Auctions assumes no responsibility for the items or the timing of delivery. Insurance for in transit items is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer must reach out to a shipping company to arrange shipping.
