Meissen, Germany. Hand painted porcelain covered dish in the form of a peacock perched atop flowering branches. The dish with three salt and pepper shakers. Applied floral encrustations and gilt accents throughout. Marked along the inside of the lid and along the underside of the dish.
Height: 10 1/4 in x diameter: 6 1/2 in. There are scattered chips with a few restorations to the applied floral decoration. There is a large chip to the rim of the dish, with a crack that appears to have been restored extending from it.
