Highlights of this sale include a lovely naval painting by Walter Launt Palmer, a large Richard MacDonald bronze sculpture, and a Marc Chagall lithograph.

Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985). Lithograph on paper titled "The Temple," depicting figures in a Jewish synagogue, 1973. Pencil signed along the lower right; numbered 25/50 along the lower left. With a label from Franklin Bowles Gallery affixed to the verso.
Sight; height: 35 in x width: 27 in. Framed; height: 51 1/2 in x width: 44 1/4 in x depth: 1 3/4 in.

The colors are bold and bright. There is a slight undulation to the sheet. No visible tears, creases, losses, or repairs. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
