Madison Fred Mitchell (American 1923-2013). Watercolor on Arches paper titled "Waiting Ship," ca. 1975, depicting several ships in a harbor. Signed and titled in blue pencil along the lower center. With a label from Philip Douglas Fine Art affixed along the verso.

The item is in good condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. The paper is floating on the mat; all four margins are visible. Along the margins, there are black line marks, which appear to be original. Framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame. Very light wear to the frame.
