Luristan cast bronze "Master of Animals" standard depicting a human confronted by two animals. These early iron age sculptures are often found in the Lorestan Province and Kermanshah in western Iran. Though the people to whom they belonged remain unclear, they may relate to Iranians or the modern Lur people.Height: 7 1/4 in x width: 2 1/4 in x depth: 1 3/4 in.
