Large 1969 Broadway poster for the musical "Dear World" starring Angela Lansbury, who won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as Countess Aurelia. The play opened at the Mark Hellinger Theatre (currently home to the Times Square Church) on February 6, 1969 and closed on May 31, 1969 after 45 previews and 132 performances. The musical was produced by Jerry Herman, Jerome Lawrence, and Robert E. Lee and was adapted from Jean Giraudoux's play "The Madwoman of Chaillot."
