Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita, (Japanese/French, 1886-1968). Collotype on paper depicting a sleeping kitten, 1929. Signed and dated in plate along the upper right; printed "Made in France" along the lower right. From "A Book of Cats," this print accompanied the poem "Aholibah."

Height: 10 in x width: 12 3/4 in.
There are no major tears or losses. There is a horizontal crease across the middle of the right margin, measuring approximately 2 inches. There is a thin line of discoloration across the lower margin of the lower right quadrant, measuring approximately 3 inches. There is very faint foxing throughout. The sheet is toned. Along the recto there are 3 small pieces of tape across the center of the top and lower edges of the sheet. There are no signs of restoration under UV light. Not framed.
