Pair of large French old Paris Sevres style porcelain wine coolers. Each painted with a scene of three figures resting in a garden along one side; the other with a floral bouquet. Each reserve is framed by a ornate gilding against a turquoise blue (bleu celeste) ground. Marked along the underside with a Sevres style mark indicating a date of 1782. Possibly the work of Edme Samson.
