Large Italian Sicilian marionette puppet dressed as a knight, 20th century. With a polychrome wooden face, metal and fabric suit of armor, and a hooked pole for display.

Heavy wear throughout. The fabric has wear with areas of stitching coming loose or detached. Uneven fading throughout. All metal areas are attached though some of the joints are stiff. Wear and scratching throughout. There is a metal halberd piece that is included but not attached. Wear, paint losses, and minor chips throughout the polychrome wooden pieces. The pole for display does not appear to be original. Dirt and dust collected along the recessed areas of the work.
