Revere Auctions is proud to host our third annual Minnesota art and history sale. "Visions of the North" showcases art across time ranging from antique photographs showing the early years of Minnesota's history to recent works by contemporary artists such as Cameron Booth, George Morrison, and Warren MacKenzie. Also available is a broad collection of archival photography from the archives of the Star Tribune depicting notable personalities such as: past and present Presidents, musicians like NSYNC and The Beatles, cinema icons from Elizabeth Taylor to John Wayne, and much more!

One gelatin silver print or original vintage press photographic reproduction from the archives of the Star Tribune depicting German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer as the central figure in a sea of helmets and caps visiting the Andernach training to review for the first time the nucleus of the new German armed forces which now combined the army, navy, and air force together.

Provenance: From the archives of the Star Tribune, established over 150 years ago, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The copyrights for these images remains solely with the Star Tribune or with the issuing agency or photographer. The prints are available as a collectible item only and may not be reproduced in any form whatsoever without prior written consent from the copyright holder.

Height: 7 in x width: 9 1/4 in. All lots are in used condition. These photographs are from a working archive and contains notes, marks, labels, clippings, and/or retouching put in place by the staff at the time of publication. All may have cracks in the emulsion, losses, creases, folds, tears, smudges, and other issues associated with time, age, and use. The archive contains both silver gelatin prints and original vintage photographic reproductions.
