Karl Gerstner (Swiss, 1930-2017). Silkscreen in colors on wove paper titled "Color Sounds #2," from the "Color Sounds" series, ca. 1973, depicting a brightly colored geometric composition. Pencil signed and numbered 119/175 in the composition along the lower right. Titled along the verso.
Height: 31 1/4 in x width: 31 1/4 in.
The print is in great condition with no major creases or losses, or visible tears. The color is bold and bright. There is a minor crease to the right top corner. To the lower right corner, there is a minute loss. Along the lower margin, there are three minute losses that are only visible under careful inspection. To the lower left corner, there is a crease. Along the left margin and the lower left quadrant, there are areas with light grey marks. To the upper left quadrant, there is a minute black accretion. A few scattered areas with marks, possibly pencils. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. Along the verso, there is a horizontal line mark, which does not affect the recto. The purchaser’s obligation to pay immediately the full purchase price is absolute and unconditional and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs or counterclaims of any kind whatsoever. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.
SHIPPING
