John Koch (American, 1909-1978). Double-sided oil on board painting titled "Woman Asleep," depicting a nude woman reclining on a bed. The verso depicts an oil sketch of the same scene, loosely rendered in shades of brown, cream, ochre, and dark green. Signed along the lower left (recto). A gallery label from Kraushaar Galleries, New York, is attached to the verso.
