John Clem Clarke (American, 1936-2021). Airbrush on canvas painting titled "Anonymous American Artist - 'Egg Salad,'" 1970, depicting a blue-trimmed plate full of salad decorated with hardboiled eggs. Titled, signed, and dated 70 along the verso. John Clem Clarke was an early practitioner of Pop Art and became known for his reinterpretations of canonical paintings.
