"PHAENOMENA circa quantita tem dierum artificialium et solarium perpetuo mutabilem, ex Hypothesi copernicana deducta, cum aliis. tam Veterum quam recentiorum Philosophorum, Systematibus mundi notabilioribus exhibita," Nuremberg, 1725. This hand colored celestial map depicts astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus' heliocentric model of the solar system. This map additionally depicts California as an island.
