Jim Dine (b. 1935). Etching on two sheets of paper titled "2 Robes (Ferns, Acid, and Water)," a diptych of one of Dine's most-repeated subjects - bathrobes. Numbered 2/15, signed, and dated 1976 along the lower right. Dine, a forerunner of the American Pop Art movement, often made common household items the focus of his work, alluding to a commentary on traditional subjects of art, popular culture, commercialism, and the American way of life.
