Jeanette Pasin Sloan (American, b. 1946). Gouache and watercolor painting titled "Untitled (Optical)" depicting a still life of a silver cup stacked atop a colorful piece of glass, 2002. Pencil signed along the lower right.
Height: 20 1/4 in x width: 18 1/2 in.
The item is in good condition with no visible losses or tears, or major creases. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. Along the right and left margins, the paper is painted white; however, it does not appear to be restored. Along the white margins, there are scattered areas with light minute paint accretions, which do not affect the center image. To the lower left quadrant, there is a minute pencil inscription. There is a minor crease to the upper right and corners and to the lower left corner. Along the upper margin, there is a horizontal line mark, possibly original to the paper. Along the verso, there is light soiling and paint accretions throughout, which do not affect the recto.
