The print "Two Flags" was a commemorative work for the 50th anniversary of the original Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. For this event, the Whitney was gifted Johns' iconic painting "Three Flags," 1958. Once again, Johns returns to the American flag as his subject matter and demonstrates his capabilities as a master printmaker in this celebratory work. Height: 46 in x width: 30 in.
