Huang Shen (Chinese, 1687-1772). Ink on paper mounted scroll painting depicting a young figure reaching up towards an elderly man. Signed along the upper right corner. Bordered with silk.
Huaxin; height: 47 3/4 in x width: 19 1/4 in. Framed; height: 61 1/2 in x width: 28 in.
Wear throughout as shown in the listing image. No major losses or tears. Crease throughout the item, possibly from the glue. Ink has faded as expected from age. Liquid damage throughout; however, the liquid damage did not cause loss. Heavy toning to the sheet and to the huaxin. No glass. The verso could not be inspected due to the nature of how the item is framed.
