Gustavo Montoya (Mexican, 1905-2003). Watercolor on paper painting depicting two figures. Signed along the lower right. Montoya is well-known for his colorful portraits of children.
Sight; height: 11 1/2 in x width: 7 1/2 in. Framed; height: 15 in x width: 10 3/4 in.
The painting is in fair condition overall with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The paper is toned and has a network of white accretions along four margins. There is foxing and mat burn. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. The painting is framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame. Wear to the frame.
