Group of 36 Walking Liberty half dollar coins from the years 1917-1947. The obverse depicts Liberty walking and holding branches with the U.S. flag draped over her shoulder as the sun sets on the eastern horizon. The reverse depicts an eagle rising from a mountaintop perch. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman (American, 1870-1952).

This group includes the following from the Philadelphia mint: one 1917, one 1934, one 1939, one 1940, one 1941, one 1942, one 1943, three 1944, two 1945, one 1946, and one 1947. From the Denver mint: one 1935, one 1941, three 1942, and one 1945. From the San Francisco mint: three 1918, one 1920, two 1934, two 1935, one 1936, one 1937, one 1939, one 1941, one 1942, one 1943, one 1945, and one 1946.
