Group of three stone carvings depicting fish and a dolphin. Small fish with "L.K Arctic Bay NWT 1978 ©" inscribed along the underside. Large fish with "Josie Papialook 103950 © 75" inscribed along the underside. Dolphin with a partially illegible signature along the underside. Carved by an Inuit or Yup'ik artist, one of the peoples indigenous to the North American Arctic frequently referred to as Eskimos.
Small Fish; height: 2 1/4 in x width: 1 1/2 in x depth: 8 in. Large Fish; height: 2 3/4 in x width: 1 1/8 in x depth: 11 in. Dolphin; height: 1 in x width: 1 1/2 in depth: 4 7/8 in.
