Limoges, France. Group of twelve assorted hand painted porcelain pill boxes. Shapes include: one large shoe; one small box with a black and white shoe affixed to the top that opens to reveal a second shoe; a carriage containing a shoe inside; a sarcophagus with a mummy inside; one box that opens to reveal three small red vials; and oval box with blue flowers; a paint palette; a shopping bag reading "Merry Christmas"; a rectangular box with a man painted along the top; a heart-shaped box; an egg-shaped box; and a yellow box with two shoes affixed along the top. All marked along the underside or interior of the boxes.
Height ranges from 1/2 in to 3 1/4 in; width ranges from 1 1/2 in to 4 1/2 in; depth ranges from 1 1/4 in to 2 1/2 in.
