Group of ten assorted hand painted porcelain pill boxes in the shape of or featuring champagne, wine, or cheese including: three covered cheese trays, two corks, two ice buckets with bottles of champagne, one book with a bottle of Bordeaux, one stand with a bottle of champagne, and one of a pig in a suit holding a bottle of champagne aloft. All marked along the underside or interior of the box.
Height ranges from 1 1/4 in to 3 1/2 in; width ranges from 1 in to 2 1/2 in; depth ranges from 1 in to 2 1/2 in. The items are in great condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration under UV light. The upper second to the left item has adhesive residue along the underside. The lower second to the left item has a light oxidation to the grape; it has wear throughout. The lower far left item has a minute loss to the paint; light unevenness to the underside. The upper far right has adhesive residue along the underside; light oxidation to the grape. The damages listed above are minute and do not affect the overall work; they are expected from the age.
