One depicting an energetic abstract scene against blue background, 1965. Signed along the lower right; dated along the lower left.Horizontal work; height: 11 in x width: 14 in. Vertical work; height: 12 3/4 in x width: 9 1/2 in.
Condition
No visible tears, losses, or signs of restoration under UV light. Light creases throughout. The color is bold and bright. The vertical work has horizontal folded creases, and the creases are taped from the verso; however, it does not appear that the creases are ripped. Along the left margin, there is a vertical creases as shown in the listing image. The upper margin is not clear cut. From the verso, the paper is heavily toned and has original paint marks; along the upper left quadrant, there is a color pencil mark "360"; to the center, there is a green pen mark "403"; and above the green pen, there is a pencil inscribed area. Along the upper margin, there are three tapes adhered. The horizontal work has an area where the surface is unstable along the center of the left margin. Along the verso, the paper is toned and has undulation to the corners; color pencil marks throughout; along the upper margin, there is an old framer's tape adhered; please see the listing image.
