Nic Jonk (Dutch, 1928-1994). Group of two drawings in graphite on paper. One depicts a reclining female nude, signed and dated 1986 along the lower right; the other depicts a group of huddled figures and is signed and dated 1961 along the lower left.
Larger; height: 10 1/8 in x width: 13 1/2 in. Smaller; height: 5 1/4 in x width: 7 1/2 in.
The drawings are in good condition overall with no visible creases, or major losses or tears. The reclining female drawing has a loss to the upper left quadrant; the paper is toned and browned; light wear to the margins. There is soiling to the upper right corner; there is a red mark to the face. From the verso, soiling along the margins is visible.
The smaller drawing with a group of huddled figures has a tear to the upper margin, followed by skimming- skimming measuring 2 in and the tear measuring 3/4 in. Along the reverse of the sheet, there is pencil marks as shown in the lot listing.
