Richard "Dick" Huss (American, b. 1946). Group of two glass fruits including one pear and one blue cherry, each signed and dated. The pear dated 1999 and the cherry dated 1998.

As one of the most accomplished glass artists hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, his works can be found in collections worldwide including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York.
Pear; height: 20 in x diameter: 10 in. Blue Cherry; height: 14 in x diameter: 8 in. No visible chips, cracks, or losses. No visible signs of restoration under UV light. Throughout the blue cherry, there are light scratches, most noticeably around the underside. To the upper side of the cherry, there is a network is minute white accretions. Both items show very light wear along the underside, consistent with age and use.
