Group of two Art Deco beaded bags. One bag beaded in black rectangular beads with fringe and hinged top which opens to reveal a circular mirror. One red and black bag beaded in geometric patterns with red and black seed beads, one large tassel suspended from the bottom of the purse. Lined in burgundy with a snap closure and circular mirror in the lid.
(Black) length: 15 in. (Red) length: 16 in. Gross weight: 408.9 grams.
Both in worn condition, commensurate with age. Some beads missing, some gapping etc. The lining on the red back is shot at the handle. Black bag mirror has some accretions and residue, the fabric pulling away from the frame in some places.
